Joan Poulos and David Lewis commissioned Salmon Creek artist Patty Pieropan Dong to paint the SS Marin in situ, anchored in Bodega Harbor. A beautiful, colorful scene shows the hills in Springtime and tells the story of our harbor's wildlife and beaches. David and Joan have generously offered prints of their original painting, as a "thank you" gift to contributors of the Rancho Bodega Historical Society. 14" x 18" matted prints are ready for framing. Your donation of $100 to the RBHS Building Repair Fund secures your archival print on acid-free paper matted for conservation. This gift brings a fine art piece of Bodega Bay's history into your home. More About the SS Marin

Rancho Bodega Historical Society (RBHS) has commissioned production for a limited quantity of 'folk art' Russian Nesting Doll Sets, commemorating our history as a former Russian harbor known as Port Rumiantsev. The Dolls specifically commemorate the 200th anniversary of the return to our harbor of Ivan A. Kuskov on March 15, 1812, to journey north to begin building Fort Ross.

You can order your very own set, by sending a check to RBHS, PO Box 1027, Bodega Bay CA 94923. The price is a $5 donation, when you pick up in Bodega Bay or $10 if you'd like it shipped to you. For more information, email Robin at RBHS@BodegaMoon.net

Get your very own copy of "Once Upon A Time," an illustrated history of Bodega Bay, suited to all ages. The 40-page book narrates the history of Bodega Bay from Coast Miwok times through the first American pioneers. It is bilingual in English and Spanish and the art was provided by Tomales High School art senior, Olivia Wilson-James.

The cost is $5. RBHS has donated a quantity of the books to all Bodega Bay Elementary School students. For more information, email Robin at RBHS@BodegaMoon.net
